Jared and Melissa selected the tropical venue of Isla del Sol to begin their married lives. We can’t get over the beauty and the serenity of this location — the breeze through the palms, the sparkling Gulf of Mexico, and the warm temperature made this a uniquely Floridian experience.

What were some of your favorite memories from your wedding day?
One of my favorite moments of the day was when Jared and I were holding hands walking from the first look to our ceremony. With all the craziness and nerves about being in front of so many people, it was wonderfully normal (even in a wedding dress) to be walking hand-in-hand with my best friend.
What were some of your favorite memories from your wedding day?
When Melissa made her way to the front of the ceremony hall, and we stood together, holding each other's confident gaze. That gaze, that look. My insecurities were at once exposed and simultaneously melted away. I will never forget the bold look in her eyes... a look I see now every day.
Advice for future grooms:
Let your you-may-kiss-the-bride kiss, be your first kiss. You and your bride will cherish that forever. The purity and exclusivity of such intimacy is a deep joy.
Remember the gospel. Remember the love of God eternally poured out on you in the person and work of Christ. Be humbled. Be strengthened. Love and forgive your bride as zealously, as recklessly as Christ determined to love and forgive His church.
Advice for future brides:
Focus on your man. There are so many people you love and beautiful decorations to gawk at, but keep your eyes on him more than any of these. Be kind and thankful to all who came for sure. The way you share your joy with them makes the celebration what it is. But don't do so without him. Don't get lost in it all. Remember the God who brought you together, and enjoy your new husband!
We absolutely loved my father's speech and my parent's anniversary dance that followed. It was awesome to see them celebrate their marriage with all that God has done in their relationship.
